ReportPantabangan is best known for Pantabangan Dam and its huge reservoir, which has become a popular destination for island hopping, kayaking, fishing, and scenic trips. The old town of Pantabangan was submerged during construction of the dam in the 1970s, and parts of its church and other ruins can reappear when water levels fall. Mountains, forests, and the wide lake give Pantabangan some of the most dramatic scenery in Nueva Ecija.
