Pantabangan is best known for Pantabangan Dam and its huge reservoir, which has become a popular destination for island hopping, kayaking, fishing, and scenic trips. The old town of Pantabangan was submerged during construction of the dam in the 1970s, and parts of its church and other ruins can reappear when water levels fall. Mountains, forests, and the wide lake give Pantabangan some of the most dramatic scenery in Nueva Ecija.

Aliaga is a vibrant agricultural town famous worldwide for hosting the unique Tauub Festival where devotees wear mud and banana leaves in honor of Saint John the Baptist. Its flat lowland terrain is dedicated to extensive rice and vegetable farming.

Jaen is known for its agricultural lands and its strong farming communities, with rice and other crops forming an important part of local life. The town also has several churches, farms, and small nature destinations that offer a glimpse of rural Nueva Ecija. Its mostly flat terrain is part of the wide Central Luzon plain.

Licab is known for rice farming and its quiet agricultural communities spread across fertile plains. The town celebrates the Araquio Festival, a traditional religious drama that forms part of its local cultural heritage. Its flat landscape and extensive farmlands make agriculture a defining part of Licab.

Talavera is known for its agricultural production, especially rice, onions, vegetables, and other crops grown across its fertile plains. The town is also an important local trading center and hosts the Tanduyong Festival, celebrating farming and community traditions. Its flat terrain and extensive irrigation network support a highly productive countryside.
